Robotic arm
Final Model
|
The photos to the left are the photos of the final design of the robotic arm. As you can tell the design didn't change much from the original either than the base of the robot. We used vex metal to re create the original cardboard arm and operated it with a remote. It had four joints rather than the original 2 from the first arm and had a much sturdier design. In the end we were one of the few groups to work efficiently to complete the task and had a great design for the arm.

Prototype
|
The photos you see to your left are the photos taken from the prototype of the robotic arm. The first two photos are the blueprints that my group and I made for the arm. Then photos three and four was the arm development on the first day of production. Photos five to seven are the photos taken on the second day of development. This was the day where we really kicked off in building the arm and advancement of the project. Photos eight to thirteen show the arm when we finished building and the rest of the photos show the joints and the arm in action.
